Kate Torgersen
Founder
Kate has over 16 years of practical and academic experience in the golf course and conservation industries working across many highly ranked Australian golf courses.
Her career began with an apprenticeship in Turf management where she soon discovered a passion and need to assist and showcase the good golf courses can provide to the environment and community.
Gaining extensive experience in the conservation industry Kate has managed several large projects converting mown areas into native areas. Her passion to educate has been showcased in the regular environmental articles written for the turfgrass management journal, through seminars and presentations within the industry and wider sports sustainability community.
Kate founded and developed Environmental Golf Solutions to share her extensive knowledge and experiences that will assist the broader golf industry in sustainability and environmental management.
Kate is also a co-founder of CourseTrackR.
Matt McIntosh
Strategy and Project Manager
Matt is an innovative and strategic leader with 20+ years of marketing, commercial partnerships, digital strategy and communications experience across sport, government, entertainment, events and the hospitality industry.
He is passionate about golf, biodiversity, positively impacting the environment and great user experiences.
Matt came on board in 2024 to assist with strategy, digital projects, communications, marketing and stakeholder engagement.
He also co-founded CourseTrackR - which helps golf clubs manage, document & demonstrate the work and improvements happening across their course.
